Snowmobile

huge parking areas for trailers and buses.
Trail #2 is accessed directly by a smaller, but
well-maintained trail at the rear of our property. The Trail
Authority uses this smaller trail for access to #2 from
their groomer storage location just behind our motel. It's
freshly groomed every morning!
MI trail permits and maps are available at our front desk,
as well as trail condition reports from those just coming
back from the trails and the groomers themselves.
We are always on alert for big snowfalls and have a customer
call list to announce them. If you would like to be added to
our telephone or e-mail "have snow - let me know!" list,
please contact us at 1.906.667.0311 or e-mail bluffsview@hotmail.com.

Spring, Summer &
Fall Activities
Our
Big Snow reputation often overshadows the splendor of our
other 3 seasons.
Spring brings over 150 waterfalls to life. Some are easily
accessible with as little as a 1/4 mile walk while others
are for the more adventure seeking individual, interested in
challenging terrain.
Summer day fun starts with fishing any of our lakes or
streams, hiking in the unspoiled Porcupine Mountains,
bicycling on our many miles of trails, climbing to the top
of Copper Peak Ski Jump or a picnic on Lake Superior. The
day ends, if you can stay up late enough, and the conditions
are right, with a dazzling northern lights display in a star
filled night sky. And, don't forget our July 4th celebration
in Bessemer... food and fun and the best fireworks display
in the Western UP.
Fall colors are breathtaking. Whether driving or hiking, you
are sure to see some of the most vibrant colors in the
midwest on rolling hills and bold bluffs.
