Copper Peak is located five miles from Lake Superior on County Road 513 in the extreme western end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula near the Wisconsin border. It is about ten miles north of Bessemer and Ironwood. The site is about five hours (by auto) north of Madison, WI, about two hours east of Duluth, MN and about three hours west of Marquette, MI. United Express serves the Gogebic County Airport only five miles from Copper Peak and provides air links to Chicago and Minneapolis.
