Copper Peak Adventure Ride
Copper Peak is the only ski flying hill in the Western Hemisphere and has the world's largest artificial ski slide. This mammoth structure rises some 241 feet above the crest of Chippewa Hill, a copper-bearing rock outcrop. An 18 story elevator provides access to the observation deck. Climbing the additional 60 feet stairs to the top starting gate will allow the visitor to "experience" the feelings of the ski flyer about to launch himself down the 469 foot inrun. Visit Copper Peak
Waterfalls of the Western U.P.
There are more than 150 waferfalls across this breathtaking area of the Upper Peninsula. In the Autumn, the waterfalls are framed by maple crimson and aspen gold.
