The Porkies - Porcupine Mountains

This year's LOG CABIN DAY Heritage Celebration at Old Victoria Restoration has something for the whole family! Tour the log cabins, sauna, and site during our annual Open House. Enjoy our handmade, woodstove-baked cinnamon rolls while watching the old-fashioned kids' games and a performance by the Kivajat Dancers. Try your hand at living history with a hand-cranked sewing machine project assisted by Sew Cranky of Hancock before stretching your legs and your understanding of the landscape on a tour of the Victoria Copper Mine. #LogCabinDay is a #Michigan legislated holiday to commemorate our log cabin heritage.

Join in the fun on Sunday, June 30 for this free, family-friendly event! Old Victoria is a 501 (c)3 non-profit educational organization. Donations and cinnamon roll sales sustain our maintenance and interpretation of this historic site and are greatly appreciated. #KeweenawHeritageSites #MiningHeritage
